Jason Puncheon will sign for Plymouth when the transfer window opens on July 1st

After months of will he leave/won’t he leave, it has been announced that Jason Puncheon will leave the Bees in a £250,000 deal which sees him move to Plymouth.

Jason Puncheon has put in many spectacular performances in his time at Underhill and scored some special goals – including his dramatic late winner against Colchester United in the FA cup 3rd round in 2007 which saw the Bees into the 4th round for the first time in their history.

Jason Puncheon told the Barnet F.C official website: ‘I would like to say thank you very much to the Barnet fans, the chairman and the manager, particularly for helping me through the rough time I had personally.’

His contribution to the team has been recognised by the fans with two goal of the season awards as voted for by them.

He played 87 times for the Bees and scored 17 goals.

Jason follows Nicky Nicolau, Sagi Burton, Giuliano Grazioli and Anthony Thomas out of Underhill this summer.
