Neal Bishop transfer listed

26 year old midfielder Neal Bishop has turned down a contract offer and has been placed on the transfer list by request.

Bishop has made 47 appearances for Barnet since his move from York City in June 2007.

Manager Paul Fairclough revealed his disappointment, telling the Barnet FC club website ‘Neal has indicated that he wants to leave. The club have made him a very good offer of an improved contract that would have put him in line with Barnet’s top players but he has not accepted’.

Neal Bishop was ruled out for the rest of the season after being stretchered off the pitch during the 2-0 win away at Accrington Stanley.
