Scunthorpe prepare Adomah bid.

Scunthorpe are preparing to launch a bid of up to £400,000 for Barnet’s wing wizard Albert Adomah according to the Daily Star.

Manager Nigel Adkins has been watching Adomah recently and described him as a ‘flair player’ while also confirming that he hoped to speak to Barnet boss Paul Fairclough about the possibility of signing him after a Monday board meeting.

Barnet have maintained recently that they do not have to sell players this summer, and indeed bids from two other Championship clubs have already been rejected, however this bid – potentially the Bees’ biggest transfer windfall for over a decade – is the sort of offer that might just see the man they call ‘Uncle’ on the move.
