Paul Fairclough has reiterated his desire for Giuliano Grazioli to go out on loan and get some match fitness.

Graz has only started five games this season thanks to the numerous injuries he has sustained, and was made available to loan in January.

The manager said, ‘It is important that people like Graz have games, but he hasn’t gone out on loan for a number of reasons.’

He admitted ‘he (Grazioli) was due to go out, but he got another injury. After that, he felt he wanted to be here when our FA Cup run was going on.’

Despite still being available to go out on loan, most likely to a Conference outfit, he may be called upon this Saturday with a host of other strikers unavailable for action.

‘But for the club to move forward, we need some of our players to be out on loan so they can come back to help us later in the season,’ Fairclough added.

Graz was the Conference’s top scorer in the club’s 2004/05 Championship-winning campaign but struggled for goals last season as Barnet struggled at the bottom of the table. But since the signings of the likes of now ex-forward Tresor Kandol and Adam Birchall, he has found first-team appearances hard to come by. The sooner he goes out on loan and gets matches under his belt, along with some goals, the sooner he can come back to Underhill and help the team once again try to avoid relegation this season.
