Sanchez focus is on, and not off, the field

Following the defeat against Gillingham on Tuesday much of the focus was on matters off the field and not those on it.

Izale McLeod’s future is again a matter of debate, his removal at half time fuelled speculation that Barnet’s top goalscorer could be on his way but Lawrie Sanchez isn’t get bogged down by this.

His only focus is what The Bees do on the pitch with him looking to bounce back from the 3-1 defeat at Priestfield: ‘I’m not worried about players leaving, you’ll have to ask the chairman (Anthony Kleanthous).

‘All I’m worried about is getting out of this hole we find ourselves in.’
