Barnet suffered another defeat at the weekend when they went down 2-0 at Rochdale on Saturday afternoon.

Mark Robson knows his side is young but wants them to have “a bit more belief” in what they are doing.

He was also disappointed that some good openings in the second half weren’t taken: ‘I know we’re a young group just learning the game and it’s tough when you are down at the bottom of the league, but I want to see a bit more belief in themselves from the players.

‘I was pleased with the way we played in the second half. The game was mainly played in Rochdale’s half of the pitch and we created a few good chances. I’m just disappointed we didn’t manage to take one because that would have brought us right back into the game.’

It doesn’t help when you feel you have a goal unduly given against you, as The Bees boss felt Dale’s opener was: ‘I was disappointed with their first goal – I thought there was a foul in the build-up. I’ll take another look at it and if I’m wrong, I’m wrong.’
