Barnet held the lead at one point but eventually came away from Oxford on Tuesday night with nothing but a defeat.

Michael Hector (16) got Barnet off to a good start when he put them ahead but The Bees couldn’t hold out until the break with Scott Rendell (43) drawing Oxford level just before the interval.

The hosts then took the lead soon after the break when James Constable (56) struck what proved to be the winner to give Oxford the points in a 2-1 win.
