Barnet were brought down to earth with a bump after an opening day win and a Carling Cup upset at Portsmouth with an Underhill defeat against Port Vale on Saturday.

Rigg (27) and Roberts (37) put Port Vale in control before half time an before the hour the game was sewn up when Rigg (57) added his second and the visitors third…

Barnet managed a consolation goal through Price (63) although they were beaten 3-1.
