Going into the weekend the Official Website confirmed the arrival of Max Crocombe as well as the exit of Ben Tomlinson and Harry Taylor, all in loan moves to and from Barnet!

Ahead of the three-two win over Stevenage the loan arrival of Oxford’s Crocombe along with the exits to Grimsby of Tomlinson and Taylor to Hampton & Richmond saw plenty of movement at the Hive.

Martin Allen wanted, well he needed to really, to bring in another ‘keeper with him managing to do that with the addition of Crocombe on a one-month loan deal from League 2 rivals Oxford.

A New Zealand international, up to and including U23 level, the 22-year has been with Oxford since 2010 after earlier spells with MK Dons and Buckingham Town but has been limited to just four appearances for them so could end up playing as many games for the Bees in his one-month with us as he has the U’s in all his years with them!

Leaving the Hive though, for an initial month himself, is Tomlinson. Signed from Lincoln in the summer the winger hasn’t, as yet, seen this move to Barnet work so this loan with either kick-start his career or finish it….

Also going out, for a month at first, is central defender Taylor who has joined Hampton, who play in the Isthmian Premier Division.
