Lee Harrison has thanked the 480 travelling Bees fans for their constant singing throughout the 5-2 defeat at Carrow Road.

It was the Barnet fans that created the best atmosphere in the stadium despite Barnet being 5-0 down after just half an hour.

Harrison told Barnet’s website: ‘In my time at the club – and I wasn’t around when the Bees went to Old Trafford – I have never known such fantastic backing for the lads as we got at Carrow Road and, on behalf of the players, I would like to say a big Thank You to everyone who was there.’

There was great banter going on between the home and away fans which made the near 15,000-full stadium a joy for fans wanting to see a good spectacle both on the pitch and off it.

‘It’s not easy to keep singing, chanting and applauding when your side concedes five goals in the first half,’ he added ‘but the players took heart and, hopefully, paid something back with their second half performance.’
