Barnet’s summer signing from former SPL side Gretna is set for an operation on a possible hernia that could leave him out for a month.

Fans had questioned why Deverdics had been left on the bench in the first place, after impressing during the pre-season friendly’s.

It was revealed after the 3-1 defeat to Chesterfield that the midfielder had missed training for the week.
