Perhaps moves on the recruitment front for players with Barnet aren’t as productive as some might have hoped, however a very good off the field addition has been made.

Peter Davis, who has a wealth of experience, has joined the club as Head of Commercial.

At club level Davis has successfully worked with Crystal Palace, Oxford and Luton and has also been successful managing sponsorship and hospitality events at the 1990 and 1998 World Cups and 1996 and 2000 European Championships with some high profile clients involved, the likes of Coca Cola and Ford.

The commercial side of things is vitally important to any club and with someone coming in with the experience that Davis does this bodes well for the commercial future of Barnet.
