The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Northampton Town this weekend.

Barnet travel to Northampton on Saturday January 2 for the game at Sixfields and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Ross Joyce
Linesmen: Daniel Leach and Joe Clark
Fourth Official: Josh Smith

Match Day referee Joyce (Cleveland) has officiated two Barnet games so far this season – the three one loss to Bristol Rovers in August and the four two loss to Notts County in November. In those games he showed a total of eight yellow cards, five to Barnet.

He has however already taken in fifteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 48 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the above referenced match between Mansfield and Wimbledon on September 5 with a total of seven yellows being shown and one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
