The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Newport County this weekend.

Barnet travel to Newport County on Saturday February 6 for the game at Rodney Parade and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Swabey
Linesmen: Wayne Barratt and Mark Howes
Fourth Official: Ronald Ganfield

Match Day referee Swabey (Devon) has officiated one Barnet game this season – the two nil victory over Northampton back in August. In that game he showed two yellow cards and one red, one yellow to Barnet.

He has however already taken in 20 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 61 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Stevenage and Mansfield on September 29 with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
