Barnet’s League 2 season continued with a draw against Yeovil at Huish Park on Saturday.

Aaron McLean’s first half brace, one a fine freekick, had Barnet two-nil up at half time and on course for victory but two goals in the final 10-minutes from Francois Zoko saw Yeovil come back to earn a two-two draw.

These were the other results.

Saturday 12th December 2015
Accrington P-P Wycombe
Wimbledon 1-2 Stevenage
Bristol Rovers 2-1 York
Crawley 3-2 Dag & Red
Luton 3-4 Northampton
Mansfield 1-1 Leyton Orient
Morecambe P-P Exeter
Notts County 4-3 Newport
Oxford Utd 1-1 Carlisle
Plymouth 1-2 Cambridge
Portsmouth 4-0 Hartlepool
Yeovil 2-2 Barnet

Looking at these results the stand out ones have to be the wins for Stevenage, Northampton, Notts County and Cambridge.

Stevenage winning run in the league was extended with a good three-points taken away from Kingsmeadow after a two-one win at Wimbledon.

Northampton’s win in a seven-goal thriller at Kenilworth Road saw the Cobblers edge out Luton four-three with that win (coupled with other results) seeing the inform side in League 2 go top!

Another seven-goal game saw the consistently inconsistent Notts County overcome Newport four-three at Meadow Lane.

The recent slump Plymouth have been in continued with the Pilgrims suffering a surprise two-one defeat against Shaun Derry’s improving Cambridge at Home Park.

Barnet are back in action at the weekend with Crawley coming to the Hive.
