Barnet’s League 2 season continued with a win against Exeter at the Hive on Saturday.

A good run of Barnet form recently continued with a two-nil win over Exeter, with goals from Troy Brown (34) who headed a Josh Clarke cross into his own net with Brentford loanee Clarke (54) scoring the latest goal of his impressive spell with the second after the break to put the Bees up to 16th.

These were the match highlights.

The other results this weekend were as follows:-

Friday 30th October
Cambridge 1-2 Bristol Rovers

Saturday 31st October
Crawley 1-0 York
Wimbledon 2-0 Hartlepool
Barnet 2-0 Exeter
Carlisle 3-2 Yeovil
Leyton Orient 0-1 Accrington
Mansfield 0-2 Wycombe
Newport 2-2 Northampton
Notts County 2-1 Portsmouth
Plymouth 2-0 Morecambe
Stevenage 1-5 Oxford Utd

Sunday 1st November
Dagenham 0-2 Luton

Looking at these results the stand out ones have to be the wins for Carlisle, Notts County and Oxford.

At two-down Carlisle looked to set to lose to Yeovil but a fightback saw the Cumbrians secure a three-two win over the Glovers, which the win itself probably isn’t a surprise but the comeback makes it an impressive one!

Notts County were also trailing at one point with them coming from behind to beat Portsmouth, who were unbeaten on their travels before this, two-one at Meadow Lane.

An Oxford win, which took the U’s up to second, wouldn’t have surprised too many but they won in emphatic fashion at the Lamex Stadium going away from Stevenage with a five-one win to add to Boro’s troubles.

Barnet are back in action with an FA Cup tie against Blackpool at the Hive on Saturday.
