If anyone was in any doubt that Barnet were in a ‘massive dogfight’ to avoid relegation Mark Hughes has spelt out exactly what the score is.

A run of four straight defeats sees Barnet, who looked to be moving away from a relegation battle, just five points off a place in the bottom two.

The Bees captain knows that this cushion has evaporated but knows what is needed to avoid the drop: ‘if everyone hasn’t realised we are in a massive dogfight until the end of the season.

‘Our gap has gone and we just have to concentrate, be professional and finish at the top of the five or six teams that are down there.’
