Barnet picked up a much-needed win on Saturday as the beat Grimsby 1-0 at Blundell Park.

Tom Newey went close to giving the hosts a first half lead, but his free kick was narrowly over then Albert Adomah put a header over for the guests, but Neal Bishop (44) made no mistake as he gave Barnet the lead on the stroke of half time.

Cliff Akurang almost secured the win, but his header went over and then only a save from Lee Harrison denied Malvin Kamara from 20-yards as Barnet hung on for their first win of the season.
