Giuliano Grazioli has been placed on the transfer list.

The formidable striker, who has scored 65 goals in 4 seasons, with a strike rate of almost 1 goal every 2 games, has failed to sufficiently impress since Barnet gained promotion to the Football League two years ago.

Despite netting just 8 times last season (following his 29 in Barnet’s Conference-winning season), Fairclough offered him a two-year extension on his contract, which would keep him at the club until next summer. But now it seems unlikely for him to serve that deal.

Among the awards Graz gained during his time with the Bees was the twice-in-a-row Player of the Year, and the Golden Boot in 04/05.

His likely destination is Conference Nationwide club Cambridge United, who have long been an admirer of Grazioli’s abilities and have been linked the forward numerous times in the past.
