The Barnet boys could very well be meeting referee Graham Poll next season.

Poll will retire from professional refereeing after officiating the Euro 2008 qualifier between Finland and Belgium on 6 June, but he is reportedly considering to continue, by registering for next season with his local Hertfordshire Football Association.

And because Barnet compete in the Hertfordshire Cup – which they won this year – it could well mean that Poll will referee Barnet’s games in the competition next season.

What are your opinions on this news? What do you make of Poll’s ability and how this affects the Barnet squad next season? Do you think he should continue to referee? Please add your comments below and talk on the Vital Barnet forum!
