Kenny Gillet is still waiting for clearance from the French FA following his move from Caen to the Bees.

Paul Fairclough revealed to Barnet’s website that he intends for Gillet to make his debut in tomorow’s game against Bradford, but he is currently unable to because international clearance has been received.

Gillet, who signed for Barnet one week ago, is living in London with good friend Gael Clichy, who told Fairclough of him initially, looks set to replace Nicky Nicolau at left-back for the game and discussions are ongoing this evening between the club and the French FA to resolve the matter by tomorow.

Nicolau could find himself on the bench tomorow providing Gillet is allowed to play or could, as rumours suggest, be played higher up the pitch in a left-midfield role which he has played at with previous clubs.
