Barnet are represented in the latest Football League team of the midweek that has been selected after the recent action.

The performance by Luke Gambin in the one nil victory over Plymouth Argyle in midweek at The Hive was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Gambin was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Gambin was a man on form as Barnet upset Sky Bet League 2 promotion chasers Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night. The winger was a threat throughout, and deserved to be on the winning side – which he was thanks to Bees skipper Andy Yiadom’s lone strike.’

It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Gambin for his recognition, but the most important thing about the game was of course the win.

Full Team:

Scott Loach (Notts County), Josh Coulson (Cambridge United), Nathaniel Knight-Percival (Shrewsbury Town), Chey Dunkley (Oxford United), Conor Hourihane (Barnsley), Darren Ambrose (Colchester United), Dale Stephens (Brighton), Luke Gambin (Barnet), Jonathan Obika (Swindon Town), Matty Taylor (Bristol Rovers), Wes Burns (Fleetwood Town).

Manager – Darren Way (Yeovil Town).
