Barnet FC have announced the prices of the pre-season friendlies the Bees will play against Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

As normal, Barnet’s annual meeting against the Gunners will attempt to bring maximum revenue for the club, who have kept the prices high. This game is normally sold out by Arsenal fans who can’t normally get to games in the season, so instead have the opportunity to get to see their team play before the season gets kicked-off.

This game will be the first one Barnet will play in preparation for the 2007/08 season, and will take palce at Underhill on July 14th (KO 3:00 PM). Prices for the game can be found on the official Barnet website.

Barnet have, however, done their supporters proud with prices for tickets against Crystal Palace – a game marking 100 years of football at Underhill Stadium – being on the cheaper side. Adults can pay just £10; concessions at £5 for 90 minutes of football against the Championship side.

This fixture was the first one at the Bees’ famous sloping ground a century ago – which Barnet came out with a 1-0 victory. A club official has said that a special kit, marking the anniversay, will be worn at the game by players, and so now it seems unlikely that fans will be able to purchase the new-look designs until just before Football League season begins; a situation that has disappointed people for a few years.
