Edgar Davids has come out of retirement for a second time to sign for Barnet!

The former Dutch international retired in 2008 when he left Ajax, after his second spell with the Dutch giants, but returned to action for a brief spell with Crystal Palace in 2010 but after another two-years out of the game is back again with The Bees.

39-year-old Davids, winner of 74 international caps with Holland, will be a player/coach at Underhill with him working, seemingly, jointly with Mark Robson.

What an extraordinary move this is for both Davids and Barnet, but will it pay off?
