Barnet can now focus on the League 2 season proper with the pre-season friendlies ended with a win at Eastleigh on Saturday.

With two-goals early on hopes would have been high for more to come, and a highly entertaining encounter, however those goals in the opening 15-minutes were all that either side managed with the Bees running out two-nil winners.

Vice captain Yiadom, playing in a more advanced role, put Barnet ahead after just two-minutes and when he scored from 20-yards past Portsmouth loanee ‘keeper Poke.

Gash, as he had been the opener, was involved with the striker picking out Vilhete and he did the rest – that was that though!
