Martin Allen had said, towards the end of last year, he wasn’t expecting Hakeem Odofin to be a Barnet player for long with him positively drooling over the teenager who he said we would ‘get the chance to see him play soon. It won’t be for long because he won’t be playing at Barnet for long because he will be a top player and he`s probably unfortunate he’s not in our team now.’

Odofin joined the Bees last season when leaving Reading but a return to the Championship looks certain to happen with Wolves closing in on him?

The Times-Series reports, contrary to claims already being made, this isn’t done and dusted just yet as he still needs to agree personal terms.

Barnet (who handed him his first-team debut against Northampton last month have also named him on the bench several time) and Wolves are thought to have ‘settled on a price’ for the 17-year-old but he yet needs to agree terms of his own.
