Edgar Davids’ future with Barnet is still to be decided, however it’s hoped this will be clarified next week.

After a lot of “deliberation” a decision, which has been slowed by “personal problems” keeping the 40-year-old out of the country, is expected next week with Paul Fairclough keen to resolve this.

Should the Dutchman decide not to extend his stay with The Bees Fairclough has revealed that plenty of people have already “thrown their hat into the ring” to become the next boss as the club as, in spite of being relegated from League Two last season, Barnet is still a big drawer.
