Having offloaded their two leading strikers recently Crawley are now believed to be looking to sign Barnet’s star striker Izale McLeod.

17 league goals this season makes McLeod the leading marksman in league two and this has seen other clubs show and interest with sky sports ‘understands’ that Crawley are trying to sign the striker to boost their promotion bid and are plotting a loan move for the Bees man?

With McLeod out of contract in the summer its likely that he will be leaving Underhill but Crawley are believed to be trying to tempt Barnet into loaning him to them for the remainder of the season and picking him up on a free in the summer.

I would imagine that a loan fee would be involved and that could tempt Barnet into letting him go for something instead of nothing at all?
