Interest in Matt Stevens, from Premier League clubs, is something we’ve known Barnet have been battling against for a while with the Daily Express reporting that further interest has been shown in the striker!

Man City and Man United are said to have ‘sent scouts to watch him’ with Crystal Palace and Swansea both having offers rejected with Swans boss Garry Monk ‘keeping a close eye’ on Stevens.

Stevens hasn’t managed much involvement for Barnet since promotion as Conference Champions, however having scored 57-goals in all competitions and formats for the Bees last season, and the interest being shown, it’s clear to see what a future the 17-year-old should have!

Rumour has it both Swansea and Crystal Palace had offers of around £250,000 rejected in the summer with Palace preparing to steal a march on topflight rivals with another bid lined up for Stevens as they look to secure his services?
