Barnet fan’s were surprised when a bunch of trialists showed up at Farnborough on Tuesday but the real friendly for the first-team came at QPR’s training ground in a behind closed-door game and it was an excellent performance from the Bees that earnt them a 2-1 victory against the Championship side.

David Blackmore came in for the injured Lee Harrison whilst French left-back John Glele got his first appearance for the club as his trial continues.

Barnet conceded the first goal before Liam Hatch got an equaliser and Jason Puncheon curled in a free-kick for the winner.
