Barnet’s League 2 season continued with a defeat once again, this time against Carlisle at Brunton Park on Saturday.

Having been two-goals down, through early Miller (2) and Asamoah (19) goals for Carlisle Barnet looked to be looking yet another defeat squarely in the face but when Dembele (29) head home this gave the Bees hope and they were level a couple of minutes later when Gash (31) also headed home!

Barnet conceded again in the second half with Asamoah (64) scoring his second, this time the Bees couldn’t battle back though going down three-two….

The other results this weekend were as follows:-

Sat 5th September
Newport 0 – 3 York
Carlisle 3 – 2 Barnet
Cambridge 1 – 3 Luton
Exeter 4 – 0 Leyton Orient

Sun 6 Sep 2015 – League Two

Looking at these results the stand out ones have to be the wins for Exeter, Dagenham and Stevenage.

It wasn’t the way Leyton Orient boss Hendon would have wanted to celebrate his Manager of the Month win with his Orient side not only beaten but beaten convincingly by Exeter four-nil at St James Park as Tisdale’s side became the first side to beat the O’s this season.

Speaking of firsts, Dagenham collected a first win of the season with a two-one win at Northampton. Going away from Sixfields with the points in a two-one win for the Daggers to move then out of the relegation zone.

A Stevenage win against Plymouth, a first one was secured a couple of weeks back, made it three unbeaten for Boro and two wins out of three-matches for Sheringham’s side following a two-one win at Broadhall Way!

Barnet are back in action this weekend with a League 2 game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
