Bank Holiday Monday was a good one for Barnet as they saw off nine-man Braintree to move to the top of the conference table.

Wells saw red early on with Massey following when he fouled Crawford in the area, this meant that Braintree ended up playing more than an hour of the game with only nine-men!

The second red also resulted in a penalty but Hyde had this saved…

Braintree managed to get through to half time at nil-nil but within a minute of the restart Marsh-Brown (46) put Barnet ahead.

Goals from Byrne (72) and Hyde (90) wrapped up a 3-0 win.
