The draw for the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup was made at the weekend with Barnet being handed a tie with Concord Rangers.

Concord Rangers, who are they?

In all honesty, with all due respect, I thought the same thing!

They aren’t a bad side though at all and currently play in the conference south, having been playing in the Essex senior league just some six-years ago, funnily enough at the time when Edgar Davids left Spurs.

They are managed by a PE teacher Danny Cowley, who has admitted he’s looking forward to pitting his wits against the former Dutch international, and European superstar, Davids when the sides meet in a little over a week’s time.

Cowley has also said that he’ll be taking his autograph book with him, as he had quite a few times this season, with Davids’ name going to be put into it and he also wants to compare careers with the former champions league winner.

Anyone thinking that Cowley, and his Concord Rangers side, are going to be intimidated by Davids and Barnet are sorely mistaken though as they’ll not be and they aren’t just coming to “make up the numbers” at the Hive, far from it!
