Injuries, which will keep them out for around a month or maybe slightly longer, to Bira Dembele and Sam Muggleton have been confirmed by Martin Allen recently.

He, quoted on the Times-Series with what he told the Official Website, also had better news on Kevin Lisbie.

A knee injury at Exeter forced Dembele off with a training ground injury, also to his knee, to Muggleton will keep both out for three to five-weeks.

On a positive note though Allen, as much as this is a ‘big concern’, did say it’s only these two sidelined now.

‘He’ll be out probably between three and five weeks. Sam Muggleton this morning in training hurt his knee; exactly the same injury as Bira Dembele.

‘He’s on his way to hospital at the moment to have that scanned so that’s a big concern. It’s only those two that are out now.’

With Lisbie now back in training, and Shaun Batt having been back for a couple of weeks, the veteran should be available in a couple of weeks but depending on how this week goes Batt could be involved in the Bees’ cup-tie, adding.

‘Kevin Lisbie trained in full this morning and Shaun Batt has had two weeks now of full training.

‘Kevin is probably another two weeks away. And Shaun, if he carries on training as well as he has, he’s going to do a (Tom) Champion and he’s going to come in the back door and get in the team because he’s showing it on the training pitch.

‘We’ll have to see how he gets on now towards the end of the week.’
