From Vital Rotherham:

In the opening minutes Jason Taylor put a ball through to Adam Le Fondre and the Millers’ leading scorer force Jake Cole, in the Bees goal, into a good save. With twenty minutes gone, and the visitors having most of the possession, Nicky Law played a neat one-two with Tom Newey which saw Law’s effort deflected wide and from the resulting corner Johnny Mullins headed just over the bar. Ryan Cresswell had an effort on goal but his effort went straight into the waiting arms of Cole. Then Barnet got into the game with a Mark Marshall effort that flashed across goal and on thirty two minutes, Ricky Holmes had a shot that went just wide of the bottom left hand corner. Not long afterwards, Jordan Parkes unleashed a shot that went just wide.

Barnet came out for the second half looking well up for it and Steve Kabba played a lovely ball to Marshall but he prodded his shot just wide and minutes later Andy Warrington did brilliantly to parry a Glen Southam shot away which fell to Clovis Kamdjo and the Cameroon player hit the crossbar with his shot. Then came the goal and against run of play a Nicky Law corner found skipper Ryan Cresswell’s head and the ball came off the bar into the path of Kevin Ellison who bundled it over the line. Three minutes later, Mark Bradley, on for Jason Taylor, got the ball to Law who in turn squared it to Tom Pope, on for Paul Warne, who had the simplest of tap-ins to get his first Millers goal of the campaign. Danny Harrison got the Millers third when Law found the unmarked midfielder who shot from the edge of the area and saw the ball roll into the corner of the net. To be fair, Barnet never gave up and surged forward at every opportunity and it paid off on eighty-one minutes when Glenn Poole found Mark Byrne and the midfielder tapped the ball into the net. But the Millers made it four eight minutes later when Cole could only parry a shot from Ellison and it fell to goal poacher Adam Le Fondre for him to score his eighth goal of the season. And he should have made it five-one in time added on but his weak shot was easily saved by Cole.
