Barnet had to be content with a home point on Saturday as neither they, or the visitors Burton, could break the deadlock in a 0-0 draw.

Mark Stimson, as he told BBC London 94.9, was happy enough with the point as he knows that he newly assembled squad will take time to gel: ‘unfortunately, we didn’t get the goal we needed and it wasn’t to be but we are a new squad and it will take time to gel.

‘Burton have some really good players and for us to take the game to them was encouraging.’

Jordan Parkes was one man that came in for special praise from Stimson: ‘Jordan Parkes was outstanding today. We will need performances like that.’

Do you agree with Mark Stimson’s post match thoughts here, and can Barnet take the positives from this draw at Underhill?
