Barnet players will step onto the turf of Underhill Stadium for the first time this season in a match they really need to claim three points off ahead of difficult games against Bradford and Brentford.

Vital Quotes:

Hereford manager Graham Turner says his side can claim three points at Underhill if they perform the same way as they did in mid-week against Yeovil. “Barnet don’t really bother me. What I’m looking for is the way that we perform, if we can perform like the way that we can, with the quality that we’ve got in the side now, then if that comes through we’ve got an excellent chance to take all three points,” he told Hereford’s website.

Barnet Team News:

Neal Bishop starts his three-match suspension whilst Sagi Burton could miss out to be at his pregnant wife’s side for the birth of their second child. Giuliano Grazioli could be given a place on the substitute’s bench after he stepped up his comeback from injury this week.

Ian Hendon is expected to keep his spot at right-back with Joe Devera moving into centre-back. Max Porter is another option at right-back although he should claim his spot in the middle of the park, allowing Hendon to retain his place at right full-back.

If Porter does indeed come into the right of defence, Stephane Seanla would take up a place in the midfield. Meanwhile, if Burton is not available for selection, James Cole will be handed his professional debut.

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

GK: Harrison

RB: Hendon
CB: Devera
CB: Burton (c)
LB: Nicolau

ST: Thomas

Subs: Beckwith, Cole, Seanla, Hatch, Grazioli

Player to watch: Anthony Thomas – Striker

Has looked very sharp this season so far, hitting the crossbar twice in two matches, and will want to get off the mark in this very winnable game.

Hereford United Team News:

Bulls Boss Graham Turner has no injury concerns. Keeper Michael Ingham will be the be on the bench after receiving international clearance today.

Which two from Benjamin, Guinan, and Robinson to play up front will be the visitng manager’s main dilemma.

Player to watch: Lionel Ainsworth – Striker

Scored a hat-trick to knock Yeovil out of the Carling Cup on Tuesday and the pacy striker will cause major problems for a slow Barnet defence in this game.
