Barnet have brought in Jack Stacey on loan.

The Official Website confirmed his arrival this week with the attacking midfielder in line to make his debut tonight.

Stacey, a graduate of the Reading academy, was part of the Royals U21 side that won the Premier League Cup at Development level in 2014 with him having first-team experience at the Madejski Stadium.

He’s previously made six appearances for the Championship side.

Following his arrival, with him keen to show his attacking flair with goals something he wants to supply as well as creating them, he said.

‘I’m really excited to be at Barnet. The club are enjoying some good form at the moment, and I’m looking forward to coming here and contributing to that.

‘I predominately play wide right or wide left – I work hard and I like to get a few goals. Hopefully I’ll be a creative player who can produce goals for the team.

‘This is good development opportunity for me, but I just want to come here and help Barnet move up the table – who knows where we could end up this season.’

The actual length of this loan hasn’t been revealed though, as far as I can see?

When announced it simply said he had agreed to come to the Hive on a ‘short-term’ deal, which I assume will be until sometime in January as a loan deal, at this stage with the emergency loan window closing on Thursday, for anything less wouldn’t make sense!
