The Barnet defeat at the weekend has made the meeting with Torquay this weekend all the more important.

Barnet are now just two points off the relegation places in League Two, whilst this is a little better than Torquay it’s not much better and both sides meeting in a “massive” relegation showdown on Saturday.

Edgar Davids knows how important this game is, but also knows the season isn’t determined by the outcome of it: ‘We have to start again to prepare ourselves for Saturday’s game against Torquay United.

‘We always go for the win. How we win is not important as long as we get it.

‘Torquay, like us, need to win so it is going to be a massive game for both teams. I would like it to be the crucial game in our survival campaign but we still have another two matches after that.’

It’s not quite a “must win game” for The Bees but it’s not far off it!
